Our Campus
Home Base: The Brooklyn Museum's Steinberg Family The Sculpture Garden

The Brooklyn Museum, located at 200 Eastern Parkway, generously hosts the BCAP Summer Camp, serving as our home base. We meet every morning in their Sculpture Garden in the rear of the museum near the staff entrance (click for map).
There, BCAP Adventurers and their caregivers will be warmly greeted by a member of the BCAP Staff. Adventures can engage in one of the games or art activities being run by the BCAP Counselors, join their friends in a board game or spending quality time with their friends. If you arrive early for afternoon pick-up, you may see us showing our appreciation for each other in a "shout out" session.
On rainy days, Adventurers are dropped off and picked up inside the Brooklyn Museum staff entrance. A BCAP Staff Member will greet caregivers and shuttle Adventures into and out of the Art Studios on the first floor.

Travel

We travel to different cultural institutions on foot or by bus. We travel to our member institutions, except in the case of lightning storms. Indoor activities will replace any outdoor activities scheduled on rainy days or days with a heat advisory. Campers are required to wear sneakers and encouraged to bring rain gear and a shady hat daily and check the weather report regularly to plan accordingly. Ready to get started?
